Some teams played well, but one duo simply caught fire.

Garrett Craig and Tyson White put together an outstanding performance, carding a Net 1-under-par to run away with the tournament by five strokes. Their victory earned each golfer 12 bonus points toward the season standings and, of course, the coveted Two-Man Scramble Trophy to take back to the office.

The only thing hotter than Garrett and Tyson's scorecard was the weather itself. Temperatures soared throughout the afternoon, leaving Tyson claiming he was just a few swings away from heat stroke. Whether that's completely true or not... we'll let him tell that story.

Finishing in a tie for second at Net 4-over were two impressive pairings: Drew Farrer & Blake Poage and Aiden Brown & Caelan Sexton. Despite strong rounds, both teams finished five strokes behind the eventual champions, showing just how dominant Garrett and Tyson were from start to finish.

Jeremy Pendleton and Cameron Cody claimed fourth place with a Net 7-over, earning the final standalone bonus-point position.

Rounding out the top finishers was a tie for fifth between Blake Moore & Denny Mayne and Sawyer Alderson & Lucas Morrison. The event also marked Lucas Morrison's first league appearance since the 2024 season. Welcome back to the tour, Lucas!

Every season seems to produce a story that no one could have predicted, and Round 5 delivered one for the history books.

The first casualty came when Blake Moore's Jeep Renegade took a direct hit from an errant tee shot, leaving the rear windshield completely shattered. As course staff assessed the damage, league owners Jorden Henson and Skyler Henson moved ahead to the 18th tee to keep play moving while the rest of the field finished.

Then the unbelievable happened.

Skyler's tee shot sailed toward the parking lot and found another target—Joel Barrientos' vehicle, parked several spaces away from Blake's. The ball crashed through Joel's rear windshield, making it two shattered back windows in a single afternoon.

The craziest part? Blake and Joel were in the group immediately behind Skyler and Jorden, meaning they didn't discover the damage until they finished their round. It's safe to say this is one league record that nobody wants to see broken again.

After golf wrapped up, a handful of members headed inside the casino hoping to turn their luck around. While no official reports have surfaced from the gaming floor, we'll leave it to those brave enough to share their winnings... or losses.

With five events now complete, the regular season has officially reached its halfway point.

The battle for the top spot remains incredibly close, while the fight around the playoff cut line is only getting more competitive. With just four regular-season rounds remaining, including the always exciting OMG Open, every point earned from here on out could be the difference between extending the season into the playoffs or watching from the sidelines.

The tour now returns to match play as the league heads to Whispering Oaks Golf Course in Marshfield, Missouri, for Round 6. With the playoff picture beginning to take shape, every match carries more weight than the last.
