Tud Gold
The Ozark Mountain Golf Tour landed at Thousand Hills Golf Resort in Branson for a regular season clash that was anything but ordinary. The executive-style track may measure short on paper, but with nine par 3s, tight tee shots, and quick greens, it demanded accuracy and touch. Add in some summer heat and a competitive field, and this event had all the ingredients for a spicy Saturday. The vibez? Immaculate.
Sawyer Alderson, Caelan Sexton, Skyler Henson, & Trent Simpson
In one of the day’s marquee matchups, Skyler Henson and Caelan Sexton squared off in a rematch of last year’s heated battle at this very course. That one ended with Skyler draining a 10-footer to win on the final hole. This time, he handled business a little earlier, closing out Caelan 2 & 1 and cruising to a clean sweep for the coveted 10 piece nuggs. It was a statement round that puts Skyler firmly back in the hunt.
Blake Poage, Nathan Parker, Cody Malcom, & Chris Randolph
It was a good day to be named Blake. Both Blake Moore and Blake Poage stuck it tight on the signature par 3s to win Closest to the Pin and walk away with $70 each. Darts were thrown, dollar signs followed, and those tee shots added a little sizzle to the scorecards.
Joel Barrientos, Derek Malcom, Jorden Henson, & Tud Gold
The old guard made moves this week. Tud Gold, Derek Malcom, and Jorden Henson all picked up 7 points after taking two out of three matches in their group. Despite the charge from the vets, Chris Randolph remains the man to beat — leading the season standings. But with Blake, Skyler, Derek, and Tud holding the next four spots, it's shaping up to be a dogfight down the stretch.
Blake Moore, Aiden Brown & Aaron Hall
Get ready for the big one — the Brothers Cup tees off July 12th at the beautiful Branson Hills Golf Club. This Ryder Cup-style showdown features team captains Skyler and Jorden drafting squads at a live cookout draft party at Skyler’s house (date/time TBA). Players will compete in Scramble, Shamble, and Individual Match Play formats. It’s a Tour favorite and a major turning point in the season — don’t miss it.
