Derek Malcom, Blake Moore, & Kramer Patterson
With just two regular-season events remaining, the OMG Tour entered Round 8 with the championship picture beginning to take shape. The weather provided a beautiful day for golf for nearly the entire round, with only a brief rain shower arriving on the final hole. While the conditions were mostly perfect, the competition was anything but easy as several golfers secured their spots in the 2026 OMG Tour Championship while others saw their playoff hopes come down to the final round.
Benny Amigon, Jeremy Pendleton, & Nathan Parker
Round 8 produced several performances worth highlighting, none bigger than Jorden Henson's 10-piece nugget. Jorden swept his matches while playing alongside Drew Farrer and Brody Crawford, who also turned in strong rounds with all three golfers breaking 90. The performance officially punched Jorden's ticket to Rivercut, while Brody secured his first-ever championship appearance as a rookie.
Derek Malcom also secured his place in the championship field, earning his third consecutive appearance and continuing his perfect postseason record. Rookie Kramer Patterson joined him, officially qualifying for the championship in his first season on tour. Meanwhile, Cody Malcom matched Derek's accomplishment by securing his own third straight championship appearance.
Elsewhere, Nathan Parker and Jeremy Pendleton officially qualified, while Aaron Hall made one of the biggest moves of the day by climbing back above the cut line. Blake Moore also put together a crucial six-point performance, giving himself a nine-point cushion with just one round remaining.
Two golfers didn't even need to tee it up to secure their spots. Aiden Brown earned his second consecutive championship appearance, while rookie Tyson White officially punched his ticket to Rivercut for the first time.
With the field filling up quickly, the remaining championship spots are becoming increasingly valuable.
Drew Farrer, Jorden Henson, & Brody Crawford
While the list of qualifiers continues to grow, the fight for the final spots is becoming increasingly intense.
Cameron Cody, Joel Barrientos, Blake Poage, and Aaron Hall currently sit above the playoff line, but none have much room for comfort. Each holds a lead of five points or fewer over the cut line, meaning the final round could completely reshape the championship field.
Just below them are Jarrett Rogers, Denny Mayne, Caelan Sexton, and Skyler Henson, all sitting within five points of the cutoff and ready to make one final push.
The pressure is even greater for Sawyer Alderson, Benny Amigon, and Ty Williams. All three remain mathematically alive, but their paths to Rivercut are extremely narrow. They'll need exceptional final rounds and some help from the golfers around them to keep their seasons going.
Unfortunately, Round 8 also marked the end of the road for Gaven Morgan and Ethan Eads, who were officially eliminated from playoff contention. Ethan's elimination ends a streak of two consecutive championship appearances, making 2026 the first season he'll miss the postseason.
Cody Malcom
The regular season now comes down to one final event.
Horton Smith Golf Course in Springfield, Missouri will serve as the final battleground before the OMG Tour Championship. The finale of the season where every remaining point could determine who earns a spot at Rivercut and who watches the championship from home.
Some golfers have already secured their place. Others are sitting on the edge. A few are fighting for their seasons to survive.
One round. One final chance.
