Week 2 of the 2026 Ozark Mountain Golf Tour took the field south to Holiday Hills Golf Club for one of the tour’s most unique stops of the season. The day started under beautiful skies before turning into a hot afternoon as players battled both the heat and a packed course that kept play moving at a slower pace. Eighteen golfers made the trip to Branson—though the field nearly reached 20 before Lucas Morrison’s late night at work and Blake Moore’s unfortunate battle with the snooze button kept them out of action.

Week 2 also marked the return of one of the season’s favorite additions—in-round competitions.
Rookie Drew Farrer wasted no time making his presence known, taking home Longest Drive honors and continuing an impressive start to his OMGT career. Meanwhile, Skyler Henson made his season debut and immediately reminded everyone why he’s one of the league’s most accomplished players, capturing Closest to the Pin.
If the goal was to create a little extra competition throughout the round… mission accomplished.
Tyson White & Jorden Henson
Through two events, one thing is becoming impossible to ignore: the rookies are not waiting their turn.
Brody Crawford, Drew Farrer, Tyson White, and Jarrett Rogers all posted 7+ point performances, continuing their strong starts and keeping themselves firmly in the championship conversation. With only 16 golfers qualifying for the postseason, the standings are already starting to matter.
Right now, five rookies currently occupy qualifying positions—Brody, Drew, Tyson, Jarrett, and Denny Mayne, who currently sits tied with Tyson in 7th place.
It’s early… but if the veterans thought the rookie class was just here for experience, they may want to rethink that.
Ethan Eads, Caelan Sexton, Drew Farrer, & Chris Randolph
While the rookies continue to make noise, several familiar names put together strong weekends.
Cody Malcom picked up 7 points, while Chris Randolph added another 7-point performance and continues to do what he’s done his entire career—stay near the top of the standings.
Derek Malcom had one of the strongest showings of the weekend, earning 8 points and moving himself into 2nd place overall. For one of the league’s most accomplished regular season players, it’s familiar territory.
At the same time, the standings still feel unusual this early in the year.
Currently sitting outside the championship picture are two-time finalist Skyler Henson, defending regular season champion Blake Moore, defending champion Blake Poage, and veteran contender Caelan Sexton.
There’s still plenty of season left—but with only 16 championship spots available, someone currently holding a qualifying position may eventually have to make room.
Brody Crawford, Aaron Hall, Aiden Brown, & Benny Amigon
OMGT’s version of the Ryder Cup returns on May 30th at Pointe Royale Golf Course. Bragging rights, team pride, and plenty of trash talk are all on the line as players battle in one of the most unique and competitive events on the schedule.
Standings points can wait.
The Brothers Cup is next.
