If anyone questioned whether the defending 2025 OMG Tour Champion still had championship golf in him, Blake Poage answered with authority.

Poage fired a Net 1-over-par round to capture the 2026 OMG Open Championship, slipping on the coveted Green Jacket and collecting the event's 15-point bonus. Entering the weekend on the wrong side of the playoff cut line, the victory couldn't have come at a better time. The massive point haul launches Blake back into championship position with momentum on his side heading into the final two regular-season events.

Finishing tied for second were Skyler Henson and guest competitor Will Snider, each posting impressive Net 6-over rounds. Garrett Craig continued his remarkable season by tying for fourth overall, earning 11 points to extend his lead atop the regular-season standings.

Beyond the Green Jacket, the biggest accomplishment of the day came in the championship race.

With their performances at the OMG Open, Garrett Craig and Drew Farrer officially became the first two golfers to qualify for the 2026 OMG Tour Championship at Rivercut.

Garrett now holds 61 points, stretching his lead to 11 points over Drew with only two regular-season events remaining. While Garrett continues his pursuit of a first Regular Season Championship, Drew's outstanding rookie campaign has already secured him a place in the postseason.

Unfortunately, every playoff race also reaches the point where dreams come to an end. Following the OMG Open, Lucas Morrison and Caden Dye became the first golfers mathematically eliminated from championship contention.

The OMG Open wasn't short on unforgettable moments.

Two Closest-to-the-Pin contests gave golfers a chance to cash in, and after Skyler Henson claimed the first prize, it appeared he was on his way to sweeping the day.

Holding the lead in the second contest from the very first group, Skyler watched as group after group failed to knock him off the top spot. With only one threesome remaining, the prize looked all but secured.

Then stepped onto the tee his younger brother—and fellow league owner—Jorden Henson.

Jorden's tee shot sailed long, struck the rock wall behind the green, launched high into the air, and somehow bounced back onto the putting surface. As the ball rolled to a stop, it settled between Skyler's marker and the hole, stealing the victory in one of the most unbelievable shots the OMG Tour has ever seen.

The rest of the league may have a few questions after watching the commissioners split the Closest-to-the-Pin money.

With only 20 points remaining in the regular season, the championship picture is beginning to take shape.

Behind Garrett Craig and Drew Farrer, Derek Malcom, Aiden Brown, Brody Crawford, Tyson White, Cody Malcom, and Jeremy Pendleton have positioned themselves well and appear to be on track for championship berths after the next round if they continue their strong play.

The battle for the remaining spots, however, is anything but settled.

Nathan Parker and Kramer Patterson sit tied for ninth with 34 points, holding only a seven-point advantage over the playoff cut line. Just behind them are Cameron Cody, Jorden Henson, Joel Barrientos, Blake Moore, Blake Poage, and Jarrett Rogers, a group separated by only a handful of points where every match over the next two weeks could determine who extends their season.

Waiting just outside the championship field are Denny Mayne, Caelan Sexton, Skyler Henson, Aaron Hall, and Sawyer Alderson, each sitting six points or fewer from climbing back into contention. With attendance becoming increasingly important, every opportunity to earn points carries enormous weight.

Further down the standings, Ethan Eads, Ty Williams, Gaven Morgan, and Benny Amigon will likely need near-perfect finishes over the final two events to keep their championship hopes alive.

The regular season now enters its final stretch with only two events remaining before the OMG Tour Championship.

Next up, the league heads to Windmill Ridge Golf Course in Monett, Missouri, for the inaugural Players Choice Cup. Voted on by the members themselves, the newest addition to the OMG Tour schedule will mark the league's first-ever visit to Windmill Ridge and another crucial stop in the race to qualify for Rivercut.
