2025 OMG Tour Launches with a Bang at Horton Smith
The Ozark Mountain Golf Tour teed off for another thrilling season, and what better way to kick things off than at Horton Smith Golf Course? Conditions were noticeably improved compared to last year, and the scores showed it — with Tud Gold, Blake Moore, Ethan Eads, Cody Malcom, and Caelan Sexton all beating their previous marks by a wide margin. The stage is officially set for a season full of competition, improvement, and maybe even a few surprises.

Tud and Grant Set the Early Pace
It was a dream start for Tud Gold and Grant Jones, both racking up the elusive 10 points on Opening Day. Tud’s performance included a much-anticipated championship rematch against Caelan Sexton, where he edged out a 1 Up victory in a tightly contested match. Meanwhile, newcomer Grant made a strong statement in his OMG Tour debut, taking down anyone in his path and putting the league on notice that he’s here to compete.

It’s clear the new guys came ready to play. After just one round, six new members — Grant Jones, Chris Randolph, Trent Simpson, Benny Amigon, Sawyer Alderson, and Nathan Parker — find themselves sitting comfortably inside the top 10 of the season standings. If Week 1 is any indication, the rookies are going to make life very interesting for the returning players.
Nathan Parker
The first contest winners of the season also showed up ready to snag some some extra cash. Aaron Hall stuck one close to win Closest to the Pin honors, while Nathan Parker unleashed a monster to capture the Longest Drive title. Two big moments to set the tone early!

With Week 1 officially in the books, the season is already shaping up to be a wild ride. The newcomers have thrown their names into the mix, the vets are sharpening their games, and the chase for the OMG Tour title is officially underway. Buckle up — it’s only going to get better from here.
