The action actually began days before anyone stepped onto the first tee. Team Sky held the first overall pick in the draft and immediately made headlines by selecting Blake Poage—Jorden's Brothers Cup partner from the previous year. Skyler continued his raid of Team Jorden's 2025 roster by adding Benny Amigon, Ethan Eads, and Blake Moore.

Team Sky leaned heavily on veteran experience, building a roster around familiar names like Derek Malcom, Aaron Hall, Caelan Sexton, and Ethan Eads while mixing in rookies Gaven Morgan, Ty Williams, Caden Dye, and Denny Mayne.

Meanwhile, Team Jorden entered the event looking to defend its 2025 title and leaned into the league's talented rookie class. Drew Farrer, Brody Crawford, Cameron Cody, Jarrett Rogers, Kramer Patterson, Tyson White, and Jeremy Pendleton all found themselves wearing Team Jorden colors. Joining them were returning teammates Nathan Parker, Aiden Brown, and Joel Barrientos. Despite Skyler taking several of Jorden's former teammates, Jorden returned the favor only once by selecting Cody Malcom from Team Sky's previous squad.

The stage was set. The draft was complete. All that remained was deciding who would take home the Cup.

The opening matches provided exactly the type of competition the Brothers Cup has become known for.

Group 1 featured a heavyweight showdown as Team Sky's Blake Poage and Caelan Sexton squared off against Team Jorden's Garrett Craig and Drew Farrer. The teams split the scramble and shamble before finishing in a complete draw during individual match play, resulting in a 1-1 split overall. While the golf was impressive, the moment many will remember came when Caelan launched a miscalculated shot directly into teammate Blake Poage's calf. Friendly fire has become a Brothers Cup tradition, though Blake probably wishes it hadn't happened to him.

Group 2 followed a similar script. Benny Amigon and Denny Mayne represented Team Sky while Brody Crawford and Nathan Parker played for Team Jorden. The teams again split points, keeping the overall score even. Nathan Parker delivered one of the shots of the day when he holed out for eagle on the sixth hole during the scramble portion despite ultimately dropping the match.

The momentum shifted dramatically in Group 3. Team Jorden's Cameron Cody and Aiden Brown put together the first clean sweep of the day, capturing all four available points against Team Sky's Derek Malcom and Ethan Eads. Suddenly Team Jorden held a commanding 6-2 advantage and appeared to have complete control of the event.

Just when Team Jorden thought it had the Cup wrapped up, Team Sky answered immediately.

Blake Moore and Chris Randolph delivered a clean sweep of their own in Group 4, taking all four points from Jarrett Rogers and Kramer Patterson. In a matter of holes, the event had transformed from a potential runaway into a dead-even battle at 6-6.

That shifted all eyes to the final two groups.

Group 5 produced some of the most dramatic golf of the afternoon. Team Jorden's Tyson White and Joel Barrientos battled Aaron Hall and rookie Ty Williams from Team Sky. After a push in the scramble and a Team Jorden victory in the shamble, everything came down to the individual matches. Tyson White secured a 1-up victory over Aaron Hall on the final hole, while Joel Barrientos pulled off a clutch comeback after entering the hole 1 down. Joel won the final hole to salvage a push against Ty Williams, giving Team Jorden a crucial 8-6 lead.

As the final group approached the 18th green, Team Sky still had a chance.

But Team Jorden's Cody Malcom and Jeremy Pendleton closed the door. Facing Team Sky's Caden Dye and Gaven Morgan, they captured three of the four available points, pushing the final score to 11-7 and securing Team Jorden's second consecutive Brothers Cup victory.

Back-to-back championships belonged to the younger brother.

With the victory, every member of Team Jorden received 12 points toward the season standings, while Team Sky members earned 5 points each.

The Brothers Cup also continued one of the season's biggest storylines: the rookies are not going away. Following the event, three rookies currently occupy spots in the top three of the standings, while several established veterans and former contenders find themselves on the outside looking in.

Fortunately for those veterans, there is still plenty of golf left to play.

The tour now heads to Hidden Valley Golf Links in Clever, Missouri, where the regular season resumes and the battle for the top 16 championship positions continues. If the first three events have taught us anything, it's that nothing is guaranteed—and the standings are far from settled.
