This weekend, the Bill and Payne Stewart Golf Course was abuzz with action as it hosted the fifth OMG Tour event. For the first time in over a month the OMG Tour comes back to Springfield in a much needed Homecoming. 16 Tour Members gathered under the sultry summer sun, proving that their passion for the game burns brighter than the day's heat. Many using this round as a tune up before they test their luck in the OMG Open.
Sean Perryman, Garret Bradley, Chris Obert, Tanner Gold
While the coveted 10-burger evaded our players, the leaderboard was alive with competitive fire. Chris Obert and Sean Perryman showcased their prowess by scoring 8 points each, through a blend of wins and a tactical tie. Close on their heels, Blake Moore, Derek Malcolm, and Clay Stumpff racked up two wins each, amassing 7 points apiece and proving that the race for the season's top spot is still anyone's game.
Aaron Hall, Caelan Sexton, Blake Moore, Jorden Henson
The competition wasn't the only thing heating up; so were the betting stakes, turning our friendly matches into a gambler's paradise. Chris squared his accounts from the previous rounds, a vivid reminder of how betting can quickly become more than just a sideline activity. Meanwhile, Jorden's financial win over Caelan, even with just a tie on the scorecard, underscored that the addiction to gambling can extend well beyond the casino—proving that the thrill of the wager is often as compelling as the game of golf itself.
Tanner Gold and Garret Bradley
Move over, Fireball—the tour has a new favorite libation, Pickle Vodka, with an optional kick from a spicy pickle shot. This zesty sensation has quickly captured the hearts (and taste buds) of our tour members, making it the unofficial beverage of champions and perhaps inspiring some of those dazzling drives we've witnessed.
Derek Malcom, Cody Malcom, Ethan Eads, Scott Perryman
As we swing towards the height of the season, don't miss our next two signature events. The OMG Open on June 23rd is our tour’s tribute to the Masters, a stroke play spectacle worthy of the Tours first green jacket! While the two-man scramble on July 13th at Holiday Island Golf Club is the perfect mix of camaraderie and competition. Sign up, gear up, let’s keep this party swinging!
