Nestled along the serene banks of the James River, Hidden Valley Golf Course proved itself as a true hidden gem this past weekend. A course that lives up to its name with riverbank views and inviting playability all hidden right here in the Ozarks. Its layout along the James River blended natural beauty with a course that tested precision and strategy. Nine of our Tour members took to the course for an exceptional day of golf.
Derek Malcom, Skyler Henson, & Aaron Hall
In a clash of titans, Skyler Henson and Derek Malcom found themselves in the same group, setting the stage for a thrilling 1-2 showdown. Skyler emerged victorious, not only winning against Derek but winning all three of his matches securing the elusive 10 piece nuggs with a soda, which catapulted him back to the top of the point standings. Not to be overshadowed, Tud also had a excellent day, bagging two wins and a tie to gather 8 significant points keeping him with the big dawgs at the top.
Jorden Henson, Tanner Gold, & Caelan Sexton
The event was marked by exceptional performances, with four tour members hitting their stride. Skyler (+10), Tud (+14), Caelan (+15), and Blake (+25) each shot their best rounds on the tour, showcasing their growing skills and competitiveness. Their achievements not only highlighted their individual talents but also set new benchmarks for their fellow competitors.
Kevin Scharf
Being the end of summer, several of our regular tour members were absent due to vacations and wedding commitments. Their absence was missed but the upcoming Brothers Cup event at Branson Hills promises a reunion that will bring everyone back together for more thrilling golf.
