This past weekend delivered the perfect day for golf on the OMG Tour: the sun was shining, the heat was mild, and spirits were high. We played on a unique Par 68 course, stretching about 5500 yards. The greens were in excellent shape, rolling true and fast, setting the stage for a day where precision met challenge and every putt mattered.
Landen Metcalf
Scott Perryman, Sean Perryman, Lucas Morrison, & Blake Moore
The Perryman brothers teed it up in this week's event. Scott ultimately claimed bragging rights over Sean by winning 4 holes in the match. Not to be outdone, cousins Derek and Cody Malcom, ended their 6-hole matchplay in a nail-biting 3-3 draw. I guess they don't have to talk politics at family dinners anymore. Now they can argue about who should have won!
Jorden Henson, Garret Bradley, Ethan Eads, Caelan Sexton, & Steve Shutts
Speaking of family feud, Jorden and Skyler Henson showed their skill by winning all three of their matches in their respective groups, pocketing a hefty 10 points each towards their season standings. Their strategic play left competitors itching for revenge, proving that some talents are just in the genes.
Derek Malcom, Geoffery Stafford, Skyler Henson, & Cody Malcom
The tour welcomed Geoffrey Stafford and who, in his first appearance, shot an 86 and earned a commendable 5 points. Meanwhile, Kevin Scharf and Scott Perryman (despite a score in the triple digits) fought hard to secure 8 points each. Not to be overlooked, Ethan Eads claimed two victories to add 7 points to his tally, proving that perseverance pays off on the greens.
